Session 9….
For our finaly morning Zac and Sarah Dixon led us in praying for the nations both within our city and around us.
We started by praying for the nations within our city particularly those who are seeking Asylumn hear. As we prayed God challenged us as to our heart attitudes towards others and our need to play a part in feeding the hungry, clothing the naked and befriending the stranger.
We then turned our attention to pray for the nations around us and specifically prayed for Kenyan and the famine they are facing once again. We heard the harrowing news from Edward Burea in Kenya of the immense need that they are unable to provide for. We called on God to send rain and to multiply food and provisions. I know I left with a sense of how can I be an answer to the prayers that we played….
I think this has been the best prayer week so far and I am thoroughly looking forward to the final session tonight!!!
